1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user's device (computer, tablet or mobile phone) when they visit them. Among other functions, they allow the website to remember information about the visit, facilitate browsing and ensure the proper functioning of the page.

According to their purpose, there are technical or strictly necessary cookies (essential for the operation of the website), preference or personalisation cookies, analysis or measurement cookies (which make it possible to understand users' behaviour) and advertising or behavioural advertising cookies.

According to the entity that manages them, they may be first-party cookies (managed by the website owner) or third-party cookies (managed by external entities). According to their retention period, they may be session cookies (deleted when the browser is closed) or persistent cookies (remaining for a given period).

3. Cookies used on this website

This website uses strictly necessary technical cookies and, only if the user gives their consent, third-party analytics or measurement cookies to understand in aggregate how the website is used and to improve it.

Analytics cookies (consent only): Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) are used. They set measurement cookies (for example "_ga" and "_ga_*") and make it possible to analyse site usage and, in Clarity's case, obtain aggregated heatmaps and session replays. These cookies are not installed until the user accepts them in the banner, and can be rejected or revoked at any time.

Technical cookies: the website stores in the browser a local storage marker called "aiwf_cc" that records the user's cookie decision (accepted or rejected) in order to honour it and not show the notice again. It is not a cookie in the strict sense, it is not sent to the server and it contains no personal data.

Until the user accepts analytics cookies, the website does not install cookies that require their consent.

4. Managing and disabling cookies

The user can allow, block or delete the cookies installed on their device through the configuration of their browser options. Disabling technical cookies could affect the proper functioning of some of the website's features.

5. Commitment regarding the introduction of new cookies

In the event that the website introduces non-essential cookies in the future (for example, analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies), this policy will be updated and a mechanism (banner or configuration panel) will be enabled allowing the user to accept, reject or configure such cookies before their installation.

In such cases, non-essential cookies will not be installed until the user has given their consent freely, specifically, in an informed manner and unambiguously, in accordance with the GDPR and the LSSI-CE. The user is advised to review this policy periodically, as it may be modified in response to regulatory changes or to the configuration of the website.
